In Philly’s creative community, too many talented makers, artists,
and culture-creators are being priced out of opportunities to sell
their work. For-profit vendor markets often charge high fees, happen
infrequently, and use vague or exclusive selection criteria. For
artists already navigating systemic barriers—especially those who are
Black, LGBTQ+, low-income, or part of other marginalized
communities—that means fewer chances to earn a living through their craft.
🎪 West Philly Bizarre is Different!
We provide low- and no-cost vending spaces
for over 300 local creatives and entrepreneurs for West and
Southwest Philadelphians in Clark Park and beyond.
In 2024 alone, we hosted 26 Bizarres at Clark Park, welcoming over 200 unique vendors. Of those who shared optional demographic information:
- 54% identified as BIPOC
- 37% identified as LGBTQ+
- 25%
reported having a disability or handicap
- 10% were over age

- 57.1% reported annual incomes under $30,000
- 96.4%
reported incomes under $60,000
