Vilna Gaon State Jewish museum opened famous Litvak abstractionist Yehoshua Kovarsky (1907-1967) exhibition,called 'From Chaos to Covenant',and tries to get financial support for bringing the last painting from Triptych to finally complete the exhibition.
At the initiative of the Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum, the Memorial Museum of Holocaust in Lithuania and Vilna Ghetto will be established in 2022 in historical Vilna Ghetto Library building. Help us to equip new museum with one of the exhibition rooms!
In 2009, we opened a permanent exhibition "Rescued Lithuanian Jewish Child tells about the Shoah". It presents stories of 50 children, saved during the Holocaust. The exhibition's IT equipment needs to be renewed so that it remains visitor-friendly.
In 2017, we opened Samuel Bak Museum, which displays paintings of a prominent Litvak painter Samuel Bak in his birth city, Vilnius. We plan to expand the Museum with more of Samuel Bak artwork and kindly need all Your support to renew the exhibition.
