Lancaster Against Pipelines (LAP) is a grassroots coalition of county residents opposing the Atlantic Sunrise Project. These residents of Lancaster County, PA are preparing to nonviolently block the construction of the Atlantic Sunrise pipeline. We will not let Williams Partners billionaire CEOs destroy Pennsylvania farms, streams, homes and woodlands.

All donations will support folks taking action to protect our home.

One site of resistance, is The Chapel - a sacred site on the property of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, a Catholic order of women religious who consider the Atlantic Sunrise pipeline a direct violation of their rights and their beliefs. The prayer arbor stands in a cornfield in Columbia and will become a site of constant vigil should construction of the ASP begin.

About the Proposed Pipeline

The Atlantic Sunrise pipeline is a proposed project by Williams Partners. Williams Partners is a multi-billion dollar natural gas transportation and processing corporation based in Tulsa Oklahoma. The Atlantic Sunrise pipeline, if constructed, would disrupt preserved farms, precious woodlands, and families' homes - with no benefit for Lancaster County. The majority of the fracked gas that it would carry is intended for export at the Cove Point Liquid Natural Gas terminal. The 42", 1200-1500 PSI pipeline would be unprecedented in its size and pressure. Pipeline explosions are uncommon, but when they occur they are devastating.
