COVID-19 has challenged us in carrying out one of our key goals: putting groceries in the hands of vulnerable people and families.

We have partnered with local supermarkets to provide gift cards that we can share with individuals and families who are struggling and unable to purchase groceries, within our North Shore communities. Please choose from your local partners below which gift card to select.

The impact of COVID-19

We can only provide grocery services with your support and during this uncertain time, we need your help more than ever.

At this time, we are not receiving grocery or clothing donations for the safety of our clients, staff, and volunteers. Instead, we are asking for financial donations so that we can continue to provide our community members with grocery gift cards to help subsidize their food costs and ensure that they do not go hungry.

Please help us purchase and share grocery gift cards with hundreds of individuals and families within our North Shore communities.

Be a part of the solution and donate today!

The gift cards enable people to order food online and have it delivered to their homes. Single parents do not need to find childcare, vulnerable seniors and people with compromised immune systems do not need to leave their homes. This is the safest way to assist people in need.

We will distribute the gift cards to people and families in need on the North Shore. Gift cards allow people to stretch their food budgets without being stigmatized. They can shop with dignity as Harvest Project helps to guide their spending and food choices.

Harvest Project is a community-based registered Canadian charity.

We connect with more than 1000 people each month. Our services include one-to-one client care counseling, appointments within our rent bank, grocery and clothing support programs, retail thrift shopping, plus volunteers and donors from every corner of the North Shore.

Harvest Project serves Metro Vancouver’s North Shore, extending a hand up to those in need. We provide assistance to vulnerable residents from Deep Cove to Horseshoe Bay. We are here to take an active role in establishing the North Shore as an inclusive, healthy, and supportive community.
