If unfamiliar, my partner Luke and I are an unhoused disabled trans couple with two cats. We recently fled South Dakota for safer Colorado in the hopes of starting over and getting back on our feet. Unfortunately for us, our initial plan of trying to be digital nomads has proven to be unattainable. The RV we have been attempting to live in full time not only doesn't have a working generator or plumbing, but has been having constant mechanical issues. Our current plan is to sell the RV and use the money from that to get a used car of some kinda and the rest towards renting a room together.
This is where we need your help. We need to be able to stay sheltered while we try to do all of that. We are trying to be able to book at least a month at the nearby Extended Stay America. We've been staying at a Motel 6, but due to local regulations about "short term" stays we only have 3 more nights we could possibly extend here.
We've been legally homeless for almost a year now. Please help us find some stability again.
