We are The Animal Pad, an all breed dog rescue in san Diego, Ca. We were notified about Capone, a little puppy who was hit by a car in Tijuana. He needs a lot of help to recover and may need an eye removed. We are raising $ for his medical bills.
Luna has had skin allergies since we rescued her and despite numerous doctors visits, no one can figure out what theyre from. Shes just miserable so We have now sent her to a skin specialist and need to raise funds for the expensive testing.
We rescued 2 Mama Dogs from Mexico- Amber and Queso. Both have recently been diagnosed with TVT which is a dog STD and both need to receive chemo treatments on a weekly basis. Both are also in DESPERATE need of foster homes.
These 2 dogs were found abandoned, starving and over-heating in Perris, Ca. They were living on an empty tree lot and surviving together. Its over 100 degrees currently so we knew we had to help. They are now safe with us.
We were alerted about a homeless Mama dog in Tijuana who gave birth on the streets to her babies. The babies are just days old. Mama is very skinny, but her babies appear to be healthy, despite being covered in fleas when they arrived. They are all SAFE!
We were contacted about a skinny mama terrier and her 4, weeks old nursing babies who were coming from a hoarding situation. Mama gave birth to 5 babies, but unfortunately one was still born. Mama is VERY skinny and has clearly been neglected. ...
