We were contacted about a skinny mama terrier and her 4, weeks old nursing babies who were coming from a hoarding situation. Mama gave birth to 5 babies, but unfortunately one was still born. Mama is VERY skinny and has clearly been neglected. She is about 6 pounds, JRT mix and sweet as can be. She is an incredible mother to her babies and is just a baby herself. Caring for a family of this size is very expensive: between the constant vet appointments, treatments, food, formula supplements, vaccines, spay/neuters, it can really hit a rescue hard financially.
