We didn't see this coming.
Brianna was attacked by an aggressive, unleashed dog while out on a (leashed) walk this afternoon. She is at an emergency clinic undergoing exploratory surgery. She has several puncture wounds to her legs and abdomen.
Luck be a lady. Lady luck was on her side. However you want to think of it...Lucky was very fortunate a few weeks ago when our rescue partner in AR was watching as she was carelessly hit by a car.
Hope was discovered in a shelter in SC and was out of time. She was emaciated, extremely scared and positive for heartworm disease. We arranged for her rescue and she will soon be getting the treatment that she needs.
I'm not sure the situation could have gotten any worse for Rocky and Princess. Dumped in a high kill shelter together. Princess has an old injury requiring amputation of her front leg and positive for heart worm. The good news? WE are going to save them!!
