Lady Luck was on her side.

However you wish to think of it...Lucky was very LUCKY when our rescue partner in Arkansas happened to be in the RIGHT place at Lucky's WRONG time. What she witnessed was so very, very disturbing: Lucky was hit by a car and lay dying on the ground. Did the driver stop and offer to help? No, the driver did not. But our rescue partner, Lauren, DID stop. And she DID help.

Lucky sustained a sever injury to her right front leg and the diagnosis from Lauren's veterinarian is that the leg should be amputated in order for Lucky to live a normal life. Her luck has not run out....

We've pledged to help this sweet girl. She's now one of ours. She'll head to us in less than a month IF we can get this amputation scheduled and medical bill covered.
