Shine the Light on the Buddhist Teachings!

We are looking for members and friends to sponsor a window, large or small, which will provide many with the opportunity to look into the sacred teachings of the Buddha, and the Tibetan culture that has preserved it for thousands of years.

There are many windows planned in the new Sakya Temple of Peace; each one allowing light to be shined on the precious teachings of the Buddha and be shared with many people.

Embrace this chance to be part of the new Buddhist temple in Canberra, and allow the light to shine on the Buddhist teachings for the benefit of all.

There are smaller windows for the laundry and bathrooms (4), larger windows around the perimeter of the building (14), as well as small (12) and large (3) windows allowing natural light into the gompa.

Open the Door to Enlightenment!

We are looking for members and friends to sponsor a door for the new Sakya Temple of Peace in Canberra.

By sponsoring a door in the temple, you are helping many to open their minds and hearts to the precious teachings of the Buddha by entering a citadel of peace, harmony, kindness and compassion.

There will be beautifully crafted double front door (E), 3 x glass doors around the building (C) and a showstopper sliding glass door from the dining room leading to the Stupa forecourt (F).
