Hello Everyone,

Thank you for visiting my bar mitzvah fundraising website. I decided that the most special way for me to celebrate my upcoming bar mitzvah is to share it with my friend, Shaindy Gold. Shaindy’s family and my family have been friends for a long time and Shaindy is a very important person in my life. In many ways, we are the same. We both love to eat, laugh and play with our siblings. However, since Shaindy has Mucolipidosis Type IV (ML4), she has a problem with the lysosome of her cells. This means she can not talk, walk or understand things easily and she is losing her eyesight. Doctors say she has a limited lifespan. I think Shaindy deserves to be a healthy 8 year old girl and all children born deserve to be healthy. I want to try and help fund research in labs across the world that could help treat and one day cure Shaindy and the other children with this disease. 

I love spending time with Shaindy and it makes so happy when she is smiling and laughing. Helping me find a cure for ML4 is the best bar mitzvah gift you could ever give me. Instead of giving me a gift, please consider donating to the ML4 Foundation. All the money that is donated will go directly to the ML4 Foundation to make sure that the exciting research that is happening will continue.
