We often hear about kids who have the privilege of going to school free, and chosing not to. We learned there's a total and opposite effect with kids in Uganda. There are kids who commit suicide because they can't go to school. Education is “free” BUT you pay “school fees” for uniforms and supplies. Kids who don’t get to go to school feel less than, not good enough, and abandoned by their families. They WANT to go! Our TAG 4 Change Scholarship Fund is part of our fundraising campaign.
