And They're OFF!!! Marty Ward and photojournalist, Christina Stuart, are on their way to Africa. They boarded the first leg of their journey this morning. Thank you to those wonderfully generous contributors to the TAG 4 Change Crowdfunding Campaign who helped make that happen. Here are a few pictures of the packing and preparation that went on as Marty and Christina were getting ready for today. They had TAG 4 Change and Being Me Matters stickers, TAG carrying pouches, water filters, solar batteries, books, clothes, shoes, and well ... they had a lot!! Marty's house was an organized wreck before they finished. She and Christina packed everything last night and made their way to the airport early this morning. Now, we eagerly look forward to hearing from them when they make it to Uganda late tomorrow. Do you think they'll be tired when they arrive? Or, will they be energied when they think about all the kids ready to greet them to learn more about their Talents, Abilities and Gifts (TAGs)? Keep an eye out for more updates as the days progress and things really begin to happen teaching the TAG kids, parents and teachers in Kampala, Uganda.
