Bike mentoring keeps spinning through COVID-19, and so do we.
Community Bike Works teaches life lessons through bicycles to the young people of Allentown and the Lehigh Valley who could benefit most for 25 years. Through our Earn a Bike and Junior Earn a Bike programs, we connect students with mentors and lessons in bike mechanics and safety. At the end of the program, students earn their bike and a helmet, and are invited to take part in our afterschool and summer enrichment programs. Network work together to bring the Spin-a-Thon event to downtown
Allentown. Riders compete for prizes for the most miles ridden and
dollars raised in support of our bike mentoring programs. Over the
past four years, the Spin-a-Thon has become a fun, engaging event for
Bike Works' supporters to connect with each other and our students
that we look forward to every year.
To celebrate our 25th Anniversary, this year's Spin-a-Thon will take place virtually over 25 days! From September 20 to October 14, you can earn your miles wherever and whenever you please to raise money for bike mentoring programs.
We're asking teams to raise a minimum of $200 per team member, or at least $1,000 per team. More details can be found in the "Event Information" tab.

Check-In Drive-Thru Details:
WHAT: This Drive-Thru event allows all riders to sign in for the Spin-a-Thon and collect our physical event swag bags, all from the safety of your car. All event volunteers will be masked and provide contact-less registration.
WHERE: Lehigh Valley Health Network - 2100 Mack Blvd. Allentown, PA 18103
WHEN: Saturday September 19 10 AM - 2 PM
WHO: All registered event participants - you can also check-in for other team members.
WHY: We want to stay connected throughout the Spin-a-Thon, and we have a lot of great ways to do that! You'll pick up important materials that will help you do that, like our Flat Tire and event gear, in your swag bag. Safety is always our first priority, and a drive-thru seemed like the best way to stay safe and get you what you need.
