We’re excited to announce that we’re growing!
Self Serve is in the process of expanding our business from an
800 sq foot operation to an over 2,000 sq ft location. One of our big
reasons for expanding is that we want to dedicate more time, energy
and resources to adult sex education in New Mexico and beyond.
We're asking for your support to help us expand and be able to
provide a space that better meets our mission of providing accessible
sex education for adults.
We’re asking for financial support in our moving &
remodeling costs such as
-Two ADA accessible bathrooms
-A full-time classroom space
for Self Serve classes & community events
-More comfortable
seating for all bodies in our classroom space
-A larger retail
space for Self Serve to grow & thrive!
In challenging political times & internet censorship like
FOSTA & SESTA being enacted, we think sex education is even more
crucial now. We need to be able to access health & pleasure
focused information about our sexuality, body, gender, relationships
and more.
Self Serve was recently voted one of the top 5 adult education
offerings in Albuquerque by the readers & editors of ABQ The
Magazine. A new space will give us the opportunity to dedicate and
prioritize our educational efforts and have a full-time sex education
center to help spotlight the work of other sex educators in this
industry. In the past year we've hosted educators such as Luna
Matatas, Dirty Lola, Kevin Patterson, Ducky Doolittle, Jimanekia
Eborn, Eri Kardos, HonestlyNae and more. We hope to continue bringing
pleasure to people, and we can't do it without your help and support.
We will open our new location in Early April! Our new location is 112 & 114 Morningside NE. It is about right around the corner from our current location, but on a quieter street.
