Honorable greetings to all, I am Tendai Mwamini Chenzira Fudail, born in Detroit, Michigan, moved to Jamaica W.I. in 1999 with my family, there we started an herbal business; I consider myself an environmentalist and am an active community activist. I have worked hard with youth and farming groups, was chairperson of the Walkerswood Basic School, in that time we upgraded the school so much, too ensure the students not only got a great education, but an overall positive experience. I was advisor to a youth group, Youth In Action Jamaica, we created an aquaponic system, as a business for the group, later I became the Secretary of a cooperative, we put on Back to School Programs, Summer Camps, and so much more. I was also Chairperson of the Community Development Commission for the area, this we did a lot of community programs, I was also Treasurer then Secretary of Walkerswood Farmers Group, we worked hard to develop the group, and did a lot of community work. I have been a supervisor of a few Peace Corps Volunteers.
Now living in Ghana, we have stated Youth In Action Ghana, these young persons are dynamic and work hard to help others, develop the community and give service to those in need. I am one of the founders of Ujima Humanitarian NGO here in Ghana, we have done things such as get the electricity re-stored to E.P. Primary School, and getting water to the school.
I believe that our deeds must reflect our beliefs, not just words but action. The motto of Youth In Action Ghana is "Together we build", and we believe this and work hard to create a better community, to help build a better world, for a better tommarow.
