S.E.W. supports grassroots leaders in undeveloped countries and communities where women and girls have historically been denied access to education and opportunities

Support Education Worldwide (S.E.W.) began with a serendipitous relationship between our Founder and President Malee Kenworthy and Sister Zeph, an educator and activist working on a grassroots level in one of the most dangerous countries on earth (especially for women).  The two came together because Malee was folloing Malala on Facebook and saw a documentary that she had shared about Sister Zeph and her school. It was then that Malee saw that Sister Zeph was online and reached out to her and the rest is herstory!

S.E.W. helped Sister Zeph’s school, Zephaniah Free Education go from having no roof or proper bathroom to having a large school building that can fill the needs of both primary and secondary students, a van for transportation, more school teachers, security, and resources to help those who cannot help themselves in her village.

It was through this bridge between East and West that miracles have been happening and walls of extremism and misunderstandings have been torn down.

We are growing and expanding to benefit other schools and programs. Expanding opportunities for students everywhere.
