Eleventh Hour Publishing was founded on a very simple premise—good books, journals, and music make the best presents—so why not "gift them away" as rewards in crowdfunding campaigns. It's a win-win-win for all 3 parties:  the Campaigns, the Creators, and the Community.

Creators (self-published authors, musical artists, designers, and other creatives) get more exposure and sales for their work, long after they're no longer new. And they get to see their work support excellent causes. 

Community - In this context, community is the community being served, the community of donors, and the community-at-large. While supporting good causes that benefit very specific communities, donors have the opportunity to simultaneously support literacy, writing, and the arts and to benefit the larger community.
