Joan Bentley, founder of the Pet Samaritans, passed away recently after a length battle with cancer. She devoted her life to helping animals and the local community. We are optimistic, with your help, we can make something truly special in her memory.
St Bernard's Animal Sanctuary is home to unwanted, abandoned and injured pets, horses, ponies, small animals and wildlife. With winter just around the corner, we need field shelters for our long term residents.

Our appeal is to save Rufus. His elderly owner began suffering from dementia and couldn’t look after her animals. Rufus was shut in a stable behind the house and it was only when she was eventually taken into care that Social Services contacted us.
