Dachshund Adoption Rescue and Education is a Florida based, ALL volunteer rescue organization helping dachshunds and dachshund mixes in need throughout Florida.

Bonnie lost her home when her owner died, she was then going to lose her best friend, Shotize, the dachshund when rescuers stepped in. We could not turn this pair away and Bonnie needed emergency bladder stone surgery on a Memorial Day weekend.

DARE has taken over the care of 10 very sick dachshunds who have parvo. They were rushed to the emergency veterinary hospital where they were assessed and treatment began.

DARE is a Florida based all volunteer and foster home rescue for dachshunds in need. We save the dogs we can - with help from people just like you.
