We all remember Chalkboards in school - the sound of chalk, the chalk dust that falls and the eraser that leaves a footprint. Chalkboards are essential in Nepal's schools to deliver lessons. We will email you a picture of a teacher utilizing the chalkboards you helped provide!

The villages are torn, buildings are destroyed and the economy is tough. This perk provides much needed working wages for one local Nepali to aid in the construction of the schools. We will email you a picture of one of the schools under construction!

The entryway for their education - each school is outfitted with entry doors to greet each student every morning. We will email you a picture of kids entering school through one of the doors you helped purchase!

Reading a book in the dark is no fun. Electricity is crucial for the operation of our schools in Nepal. Provide electricity for one school with this claim-it item. We will send you a picture of a students learning in a brightly lit classroom!

One school will employ 16 local Nepalis, giving the entire village much needed employment and boost to the economy. We will send you a picture of each schools we are able to build through this project once they are complete! After the school opens we will write you updates through the year to let you know how the kids are do and how it's impacting the community. We will also send you a video thank you from the students.

You will be visiting one of the villages where we will be rebuilding a school. This perk includes a guided 5 day trek after flying into Paphlu, Solukhumbu in the beautiful himalayan middle hills. We will provide a guide and porter to take you on a personalized trek for 5 days: 1. Over night in Paphlu after the flight - visit a girls hostel that supports 40 girls attending college (all girls supported under Kina.org scholarship program). 2. Depending on village location you wish to visit, a one or two day trek to the village and a day spent visiting school, kids and village. 3. Trek back to Salleri for flight back to Kathmandu. Costs included in perk: Airfare to/from Paphlu from Kathamandu, guide/porter costs, accommodations and food on the Trek. All other costs, including personal insurance, flights to/from Nepal, clothing, visa, supplies, medical supplies, etc, are the responsibility of the supporter.
