What is the purpose of this donation?
Kristina and I (Paul) started Pacha in 2015. Pacha is a social enterprise that works with indigenous farmers in Ecuador in order to promote social change via sustainable development projects. Pacha Guayusa Tea is our first project. Today we produce Guayusa tea in loose leaf, extra fine, and tea bags. People can buy our product on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and www.pacha.ec.
Your support will help Pacha grow and operate on a bigger scale. As we grow we will continue to work alongside indigenous farmers. Your support will allow our project to grow and further sustainability and indigenous relations in Ecuador.
a.- Our first goal is to open a Guayusa Tea Brewery in Sacramento, CA (USA). Here, we will start to produce guayusa tea in bottles and cans. This step allows us to expand our market and reach more consumers who wish to obtain energy from natural sources.
b.- We are moving our guayusa leaf factory to Kichwa Community "San Jose". It is Located in Archidona, Ecuador. This will help us to continue creating economic alternatives for social impact for small farmers through the production of Guayusa. The goals are to: increase family income along with implement of forestation and creating further sustainable development practices. In turn, we will work to provide a positive impact on the farmers in the Province of Napo, Ecuador. Our project will also have an impact on small farmers from another province such as Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas in the Coastal Region.
We plan to use the money in the following ways: $6,900 - Tea brewery system; $3,000 - Dehydrator; $3,200 - Bottles, cans, and canister Seamer; $4,500 Keg Kits, Faucet Tower Keg Kit, Refrigerator Keg Kit, and Fridge for Kegerator; and $3,500 - Pre-production expenses.
How Will We Make an Impact?
Pacha is committed that 60% of the net profits by the sales will be destined for research or the development of sustainable projects.
Pacha is committed that 10% of the net profits by the sales will invest in the Kichwa Community San José (Ecuador).
Pacha will manage 30% of the net profit from sales to his growth.
