Will was set on fire!
Many of you have seen Will's story on the news. Will was set on
fire by an unknown person(s). He was seen running down the street in
flames. Kind citizens that saw him put the flames out and called 911.
He was badly injured. He is now being hospitalized at our partner vet
and will be there receiving treatment for quite some time. We aren't
able to show pictures of his wounds due to this being an open case and
we aren't able to give a lot of details but are updating as much as
we're able.
Due to so many people trying to scam others with fake fundraisers,
I'm creating this as a place to donate if you would like to. It's sad
and, frankly, disgusting that people are trying to take advantage of
such a horrible situation.

There has been such an outpouring of support that we are
overwhelmed (in a good way). Please know we are limited in what we are
able to share and show while the case is still open. We will share
more information as we're able. We are trying to respond as quickly as
possible to everyone.
We've been contacted by 200+ people interested in adopting Will. We
are not accepting adoption applications at this point. We are nowhere
near that step of Will's future yet. Please watch the facebook page

tragic situation please contact us, Dekalb county animal enforcement
or Dekalb county police department.
The donations we have received at this point should cover the
medical expenses that Will will have. There's no way to know what his
costs will be long term but we do feel that he should be covered. Any
donations above his needs will be used for other expenses for the
rescue. We take a lot of medical case dogs so please know that you'll
be helping them if Will's expenses don't use all donations.
