Meet Atlas~ 

"A little over two months old, he and his sister were found hiding inside the landing gear area of one of our aircraft. No mother in sight. No safe place to sleep. No reliable food or water. This is not a place built for dogs of any age. The days are brutally hot. Resources are limited. Animals here survive mostly by luck — and somehow, these two did. We started doing what we could within and even beyond our limits: making sure they had food, water, shade, and somewhere safer than where they started. And then Atlas did what animals somehow always do. He trusted us. He sits beside me whenever he gets the chance. He follows quietly instead of wandering off. He does these slow sleepy blinks and looks up at you like he already believes someone is coming back for him. That’s the hard part. Because once something that small decides you’re safe, it becomes impossible not to care what happens next. We can’t save every animal here. I wish we could. But we are trying to give Atlas and his sister the best possible chance. Donations would go directly toward necessities to move them toward safety, food, veterinary care, transport, rescue coordination, and placement. If you can help by donating, sharing, thank you. He survived being born in one of the hardest places for a puppy to survive. And for Atlas, this isn’t temporary for me. If I am able to bring him home, I am committed to giving him patient, attentive care and training so he can leave survival behind and simply learn how to be a dog. He deserves more than getting by. He deserves routines, safety, enrichment, soft places to sleep, full bowls, and the chance to grow without constantly scanning for what comes next. I know rescue doesn’t end the day an animal is brought home. It becomes a commitment. For the rest of his life, I will be his guardian. I will be devoted to protect him, advocate for him, and give him every opportunity to heal, trust, and thrive. He has spent his first months surviving. I want the rest of his life to be living. 🐾"
