MEET Rocko & Momma Moxie~
"Rocko was the runt of the litter and very shy. But he has opened up alot to everyone out here. He is very vocal and loving often sleeping at my feet or between my legs. The rest of the litter was taken away and we just want to get him home to a loving family."
Moxie's Story:
"Moxie, our sweet Momma dog, has been here with us for quite some time. In her young life, she has already had several litters of puppies and has spent her time doing what mommas do best—loving, protecting, and caring for her babies.
Most recently, Moxie had a litter of five puppies. Sadly, four of her babies were taken away from her, leaving her with just one puppy. Her last little one is also on his way to being adopted, which means Moxie will soon be left without any of her babies. And now, it’s Moxie’s turn.
So often, the momma dog is the one who gets forgotten. Everyone focuses on the puppies, while Momma is left behind. After giving so much of herself to her babies, she deserves a chance to have a life of her own.
I want to bring Moxie home and give her what she has never truly had—a safe and loving home where she can relax, enjoy herself, feel secure, and finally be spoiled. Moxie is incredibly sweet and has the most wonderful personality. She greets you with a smile that makes it impossible not to love her. She deserves to be loved and cared for simply because she is Moxie. She has spent so much of her young life being a mom. Now, she deserves to just be a dog—to play, explore, sleep somewhere warm and safe, get lots of treats and toys, and know what it feels like to be someone's baby.
Her puppies may have their own futures ahead of them, but I don't want Moxie to be forgotten when they leave. She deserves her own happily-ever-after, too.
Any support toward bringing Moxie home and giving her the safe, happy, spoiled life she deserves would mean more than we can say. And if you can't donate, simply sharing her story could help us reach someone who can."
It's Momma's turn now. It's Moxie's turn to be loved.
Moxie & Rocko are now safe at the vet clinic and will go thru all the steps needed for them to travel to the USA.
- Vetting, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick treatment, spay & neuter, blood draw for a serology test.
- Boarding until Rocko is 6 months old and Moxie has a passing titre test.
- Once they have passing Titre tests and old enough to travel they will begin their journey for travel with a flight buddy to the USA where they will get inspected by a USDA vet and then get reunited with their Soldiers!
