Prince was admitted thru the ER at Maine Veterinary Medical Center in Scarborough on Friday.  After his exam a game plan was set for Monday.   He needs an MRI and a spinal tap.  We put a $2,700 down payment for his testing but we desperately need to raise the rest thru this fundraiser.

Prince is only 10 months old.  He was born in a barn at one of the colonies we help.  He has always struggled with URI but in the past month he got a sway back and started walking funny (see videos).  One vet diagnosed him with cerebellar hypoplasia which is congenital and he would have shown symptoms as a baby kitten.  The next vet deemed it to be neurological and drew blood for testing but when it came back negative she recommended having Prince see a neurologist.  

As you know once a cat is in our care we do all we can to help them. Prince is no exception...he is a kitten.  I think this is our first neurological appt for a cat and I know the cost of testing is high but the vets don’t have a clue what it could be and we can’t help him without answers. 

So now we need money!  We don’t have the balance to pay this bill.  I wanted to start this yesterday but I was in the middle of rescue (another post to follow).  So please help us!  We are in the trenches rescuing cats and kittens and it’s hard, hard work...these cats deserve as much love and care as the rest of them!  Thank you! ❤️
