Riley is approx. 5 years old, weighs 15 pounds, is now neutered, UTD on shots & chipped.
He has a large mass and a very large perineal hernia which requires surgery as soon as possible. (The soonest he can have the surgery is this Wednesday) and we are asking for your help so that we can provide the medical care he needs.
Riley is able to get a small amount of poop out, but constantly
acts like he still needs to go more. He mostly has little jelly bean
size dabs here and there. Riley is now on a stool softener to help him
with his bowel movements.
This is expensive surgery but we could simply not let him stay
in the shelter where he would receive no treatment for his condition.
