Nazareth House Apostolate has been working in Sierra Leone since the war in 2000.  We've provided food, shelter, medical supplies, livelyhood and education. 'Read our Story here'
Since our opening in 2008, Nazareth House Apostolate School in Kabala (Sierra Leone) has been a "free" school to the community.  We do not  charge the struggling villagers tution to send their children for an education - we provide it.  We also provide each of our 300 students with a set of two uniforms.  

This allows the students freedom from distinctions, everyone is dressed the same. For many of these students, the uniforms are their best clothing, they have nothing but torn ragged shreds of cloth to cover their body.  

The local economy is stimulated by NHA providing the uniforms.  The cloth merchants make a sale and the seamstresses are provided with work - permitting them to make a living and put food on the table. 

Our strong desire is to raise the money to begin sewing the uniforms by August 1st in order to have each student start the first day of school in September 2015 with a crisp new uniform. 

We are making many repairs and improvements to the school building, staffing and administration. We are very excited and energetically preparing to start school again after the long hiatus due the Ebola Outbreak. Its been a heavy burden living in fear of the disease and we are delighted that the end looks to be in sight for the whole country.  

To provide a set of two uniforms for each student it is $7,500. We have 300 students, however, we have already received $750. We still need $6750 as this campaign begins. Please help by making a donation to this cause.  $25 provides two (2) uniforms per student.
