The Alabama Elite Hoops Basketball Program was started in 2011 by Jared Jones. The goal was to help local youth improve on their skills in the game of basketball as well as become great young adults on their way to college. In 4 years the organization has grown exponentially working with over 400 players from across the country to train with Jared and attend camps that Alabama Elite Hoops host throughout the year. In four years every high school senior that works with the organization has earned a college scholarship.

This summer we have expanded to AAU/Grassroots basketball. During these tournaments players receive maximum exposure to college programs across the country. We have 40 players in grades 8-11 on four different teams. 

We are raising money to get our players in the best tournament of the summer which is the Las Vegas Fab 48. Over the year multiple future NBA players have attended this event such as LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Blake Griffin to name a few. Every college college coach in America decends to Las Vegas to see the talent. We want our players to be a part of this and get the attention they deserve and put themselves in the position to play basketball and earn a free education. 

Our goal is to have each player ad staff member to have 30 people donate $20 each. This will cover player & staff flights from Huntsville, AL to Las Vegas, hotel stays, food, and vehicle rentals for the 5 day tournament. 

All the help received will be greatly appreciated and will go to an excellent cause and help some great kids who have a ton of potential both on and off the basketball court!
