Across the United States, Black trans women are disproportionately pushed into housing instability by discrimination, unsafe environments, job exclusion, and hostile policy climates. The consequences are not abstract — they are URGENT, LIFE-THREATENING, AND ONGOING.
EMERGENCY HOUSING FOR BLACK TRANS WOMEN exists to respond in real time.
This sub-campaign of TRANS UNITED FUND provides:
• Emergency hotel placement and short-term safe housing
• Rental assistance and security deposits
• Relocation support to move out of unsafe areas
• Utility stabilization to prevent eviction
• Transportation connected to housing access

Black trans women face some of the highest rates of homelessness and housing discrimination in the country. Many are forced to choose between unsafe shelter environments and living unsheltered. This fund intervenes immediately — prioritizing SAFETY, DIGNITY, AND STABILITY.
