EMERGENCY!!! We know the holiday weekend is hours away... but that's exactly why this is so urgent. Just before July 4th, kill shelters across the country are inundated by unwanted animals as people who would have dumped their pets at some point anyway decide to do it now before they go away for the holiday. This is a common, widespread phenomenon -- Google it and you'll find plenty of heartbreaking stories. Our partners in Los Angeles have been begging us for help this past week, and we just can't stand by anymore as the gut wrenching photos roll in.

By July 2, 2017 (that's only two days away!), we need to raise $15,000 for veterinary care pre- and post- travel (including surgeries for special needs rescues), ground transportation, flights, crates, care supplies, and more.
