Friends of Animals Wales have never said ‘no’ to animal in need because of the cost of mending them. Since January we have taken in an unprecedented number, many with life challenging illness and injury. Some have needed expensive specialist referrals to save their lives as well as large numbers needing surgery and hospitalisation at our usual vets.
Our Volunteers work so hard and as we do not have any paid staff every penny they raise is used to help the animals but sometimes the task of helping these very sick animals becomes more than we can manage and we have to ask you for help. Our current vet bill is massive and without your help to reduce it we risk having to close our doors to further intake.
If each of our supporters and followers would donate a couple of pounds along with our own efforts we would soon be able to reduce the amount we owe and continue helping as many sick, abandoned and unwanted animals as we can. If you prefer to raise some funds through a raffle with friends or a coffee morning or maybe car booting we would be so grateful and you would be helping us save more lives.
