Please help us assist the Trimble family, of Jefferson GA. Last night they lost their two teenage sons Alex 15, and William 17, in a devistating auto accident.

"Please pray for our Jefferson community today and the Trimble family. We were finishing dinner and heard all the sirens and I closed my eyes and prayed for whoever was involved. Not knowing it was one of Kevin's students, a student that was a really great kid. I went out for Oreos for Tori Beth's class at 9 last night and drove through the accident scene. The road was not blocked just crazy bright lights from all the fire trucks. It was pouring down rain and looked like a scene from a horror movie. A fireman walked right in front of me not even seeing me. His head was down and he looked broken. There are no words to describe how defeated and broken he looked, I immediately prayed again, still not knowing it was a teenager that was killed. "

A Jefferson High School student was killed Wednesday night in a wreck at the intersection of Damon Gause Highway and Old Pendergrass Road. His brother is in critical condition and is on life support. (UPDATE: Both boys have passed away)
The wreck happened during a heavy downpour of rain and is being investigated by the Georgia State Patrol. Early reports indicate that the car with the two boys pulled in front of a truck at the intersection.
The intersection, in front of the Kroger shopping center, has been the scene of a number of deadly wrecks and was the focal point of a political fight several years ago to get a traffic signal located there.
