As many of you may know, I met Yashir about 8 years ago through my first pastors Facebook page. Yashir reached out to me and we became friends. His courage and faith was so amazing. He was on the streets of Pakistan evangelizing handing out bible tracts and bibles. Its been said that there  are only about 2% Christians and they are highly persecuted.

Over the past 8 years we started 3 different schools in three different villages where we teach English, share amazing bible stories and we often provide food, back packs, educational materials  and many other essentials for learning.

The Lord has placed it in Yashir’s heart to acquire more spiritual education and real life practice where he can then go back to his country and become even more effective in all the work God has called him to do.
Yashir found a one year program in Redding California at Bethel Assembly.

Yashir told me that he fasted 3 days before he filled out the application and then he waited for an answer from Bethel Assembly. Soon an answer came," Your application has been accepted." He called me to give me the news and asked for my approval. Yes, Yes, Yes!

What is astonishing is that Yashir’s parents decided to sell there home so he would have the money to travel, pay his tuition and room & board. Bethel Assembly said its about $12,500 in total expenses. There are other expenses for Yashir’s care that will be needed but where God calls He always provides.

We will be picking up Yashir from  San Francisco airport on August 29th where he will be staying with us for a couple of days before we drive him to Bethel Campus in Redding California.

As far as the ongoing growth and care of the School his parents and family will be filling in. They have been helping the ministry since I met Yashir over 7 years ago.

Look at all that Yashir has accomplished in his young life already, started three schools, he had up to 6 orphans living in his home now there are 4 and he wants to personally adopt one of the kids as his own son....He feeds the poor, cares for widows, had up to eight teachers helping with the schools and teaching the kids. 2 to 3 hours every evening in the cold and in the scorching heat with over 300 students attending the various schools. We rented out courtyards where children sit on carpets in the dirt...An extremely humble work that I’m sure our Father in heaven is well pleased with. Although we do pay our teachers $100 a month Yashir has never taken a salary. All this work is accomplished through the generosity of donors like you.

Yashir met with the U.S embassy in Pakistan where he applied and received his one year U.S Visa, he also has his passport and flight itinerary. It looks like Bethel has a house with other compatible students where he will stay.  

Yashir will fly into Sacramento and stay with us for 2 days before we drive him to Redding to start his 1 year of bible college.

We are so excited to have him with us and to then see the extraordinary life God will continue to reveal to Yashir in the days ahead.
