The DEW-002-WM is the rail-mounted variant of the TLDS DEW-002 optical mitigation platform, designed for integration onto any standard Picatinny rail-equipped system. Utilizing the same patent-pending mechanical rastering technology as the handheld DEW-002, the DEW-002-WM projects a large, dynamic area of laser light rather than a fixed pinpoint beam, dramatically increasing target acquisition and tracking effectiveness against moving optical systems.
Unlike conventional laser systems that require precise aiming, the DEW-002-WM generates a continuously shifting optical disruption pattern capable of covering a substantially larger engagement area. This allows operators to rapidly engage drones, FPV systems, surveillance optics, and night vision devices under real-world field conditions where precision tracking is difficult or impossible.
The prototype shown represents the initial proof-of-concept configuration. The DEW-002-WM is intended as a lightweight, modular platform that can be mounted to rifles, static defensive positions, vehicles, or remote weapon systems using standard Picatinny interfaces.
