Please donate! We need to replenish our medical fund and pay down our balance at our vet's office. Currently we are on hold for intakes for any dogs requiring substantial medical care. There are so many who need us!
As soon as we can get the bill paid down to a reasonable level, and
get a balance in our medical fund that allows us to deal with
unforeseen needs and inevitable emergencies, we will be able to
re-open intakes for dogs in need of substantial medical care.
Our medical fund is empty. We're working hard to pay down the
vet bill. With 40 dogs in the rescue it is slow going, but we're
getting there, with the help of all of our amazing supporters.
Our mission is, and always has been, to help the dogs who need
us the most. We do a lot of medical care for dogs that might be passed
over by another rescue or would not be easily adoptable because of
medical conditions needing treatment ... dogs like Gemma, who came to
us with metastatic mast cell cancer ... or Annette, who has Cushings
Diseease ... or Stewie, who is 13 years old and has a heart
condition requiring medication so that he doesn't go into
heart failure ... or Baby Girl, who is a 17-year -old blind shih tzu
who has been a hospice dog with us for the past 3 years ... or
Miley, who came to us with closed pyometra needing emergency
surgery, when her family could not afford it ... and the list goes on.
Your donation, no matter the size, will help us to make the
current hold on medical cases SHORT. We hate having to say no. So
please help us to say YES again! Our friends and followers, animal
lovers and advocates, have stepped up so often to help dogs in need
