Imagine a world where music heals wounds that words cannot.  

Peace Stars is a global movement that empowers musicians from opposite sides of conflict to come together—not to debate, but to create. Through shared song, we amplify voices of peace, bridge historic divides, and remind the world that harmony is always possible.  

Our first project begins in Northern Nigeria, where two artists, once separated by violence, are coming together to create a music video that tells a new story of hope.  

Why Nigeria? Why Now?

Northern Nigeria was once a mosaic of more than 200 ethnic groups living in harmony. But two decades of violence have left deep scars—dividing communities, displacing families, and silencing voices.  

Di’ja, a Muslim from Kaduna, and Ruby, a Christian from Plateau State, are two acclaimed artists with the courage to break that silence.  

Together, they are creating a song that tells the truth about the conflict—but also dares to imagine a different future.  

What We're Creating Together

We’re producing a professionally filmed music video featuring Di’ja and Ruby’s powerful collaboration—part music, part storytelling. This video will shine a light on both the pain and the possibility of reconciliation in Northern Nigeria.

Di’ja - a Muslim from Kaduna

Ruby - a Christian from Plateau State

Di’ja (Hadiza Blell) is a globally celebrated musician with Nigerian and Sierra Leonean roots. Her voice carries grace and grit, and her music blends cultures into powerful expressions of hope.

Ruby Gyang began her journey in church choirs before co-founding one of Nigeria’s most iconic music collectives. Her voice is strong, soulful, and uncompromising.

Together, they are building a new narrative of resilience, harmony, and unity.
