The Green Route Aiding Healthy Adaptation and Mitigation (GRAHAM) is Dr. Marcalee Alexander's week-long walk to raise awareness about the importance of disability-inclusive healthy adaptation and mitigation in the face of climate change. While there is growing awareness about climate change in general, the public does not know nearly enough about the importance of public health and disability inclusion as we reduce emissions and prepare for what's on the way. The GRAHAM Walk aims to change that.

The GRAHAM is the successor to Canada to Key West, which Dr. Alexander started in 2019 and then was interrupted by the pandemic. It is also dedicated to her late son Graham Alexander, who was passionate about the importance of nature for inner peace and mental health. You can see a video about Canada to Key West on the Sustain Our Abilities YouTube page (video link).

Your donation will support logistics, resources and lodging for The GRAHAM as Dr. Alexander goes from city to city.
