We need all of your prayers and care for Yashirs family in Pakistan. As some of you may know they are suffering extreme hardship and been displaced from their home due to the extreme amount of persecution they have endured as being a Christian in a Muslim nation. They have fled their city with the orphan kids that we help care for through Compassion Care International. There was an extreme persecution of the believers in the churches near them.
A little while back seven churches were burned down and the homes of the believers were also torched. Yashirs family fled with over twenty other Christian families who all feared for their own lives. Yashir’s younger brother was shot through the arm with a riffle. They even drove by and shot rounds bullets at there home. On one occasion they showed up and threatened Yashir’s father and hit him with the butt end of a riffle in the face.
With all this persecution in their service to our Lord they remain
faithful to Him. Yashir’s father and mother are helping care for and
feed over 20 people families, children. Its in my heart that we should
put together a financial gift for them that will really help our
brothers and sisters in Pakistan. I’m aiming for at least $1,000 so
they can buy food, clothing, personal items, coats & shoes. My
heart is how can walk by and do nothing. We are called to lay down our
lives for one another and this is what Yashir, his father and mother
are doing everyday giving when they have nothing.

6Is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? 7Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? 8Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thy healing shall spring forth speedily; and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of Jehovah shall be thy rearward. 9Then shalt thou call, and Jehovah will answer; thou shalt cry, and he will say, Here I am.
