Help Norwich B Repair Our Broken Main Sewage Line
We are the residents of Norwich B, a 24-unit, 55+ condominium community in West Palm Beach. Most of our neighbors are retirees living on fixed incomes — Social Security and modest retirement payouts — with no steady paycheck to fall back on. Now we're facing an emergency that's beyond what our reserves, or our residents, can cover.
Our building's main sewage line has failed. This isn't a cosmetic problem or routine maintenance — it's a health and safety emergency. To stop raw sewage from backing up into the building, we've had to shut off water to two units entirely, leaving those neighbors without running water until the line is fixed. Every day the repair is delayed, the risk of a larger backup grows, and we may face code violations and fines from the city for the conditions our residents are being forced to live in.
The repair will cost approximately $18,400. As a small association of just 24 homes — many of them retirees on fixed incomes — our maintenance fund simply doesn't stretch to cover an emergency of this size, and a sudden special assessment would be a genuine hardship for families already stretched thin.
That's why we're asking for help. Every dollar raised goes toward this emergency repair — collected by the Norwich B Board and paid directly to the licensed plumbing contractor, not to anyone's pocket. Our goal is to raise $18,400 so work can start immediately and our two displaced households can get their water back.
