Oh Edgar...a kitty who would have certainly died if he had been born in the wild... but he wasn’t...he was born in our care.  So we decided if he had the will to live we would have the will to help him...we didn’t realize the commitment that was going to be required at the time but here we are!  And now Edgar is 1 year 5 months old and he can walk and he can potty on his own because he now has legs that work!  It took months and months and many tears to get to this point.  But we did thanks to all of you!

At his one year checkup in February his specialist Dr Yeh at Angell Memorial in Boston determined that Edgar’s left ankle was still causing him pain and thought it was time to try to strengthen the tendons...he feels this will “benefit his quality of life long-term”.  Edgar has always limped favoring his left leg because it causes him pain.  After much soul searching and consultation with all his caretakers I have decided we will move forward with this surgery.

So on Tuesday, April 30th Edgar will once again undergo surgery (**Dr Yeh’s notes and estimate attached**).  This surgery is not cheap and we need your help to have this done.  You have been with us every step of the way so far and we are hoping we can count on you again.  Edgar stands for hope, strength, determination and love...if Sir Edgar Cayce the Brave can endure all he has and still have a will to live then by golly we will do all we can to help him live his best life!  He inspires me daily...I hope he also inspires you!  Thank you! ❤️
