So what it's a Monday ! Unarmed black people are murdered by the
police on a Monday ! I don't see a Monday ! I see July 17th. This
one marks the 3rd year that Eric Garner, left his Legacy behind. Not
in vain. In power we will build.
With no justice, from the "justice" system. We will take justice into our own hands. With the concept "Strong communities make policing obsolete". On this day we will occupy Bay street with culture, education, self love & pride for our youth.
The day will include a ;
SWIPE IT FORWARD action (eliminating tickets being a burden in our low income communities. We will be swiping those that need swipes on the bus).
games, give aways, and a knitting circle with Jen Carlo (learning the skill of knitting)
Performances by Queen Blizzy (Ty Black), Ish Bars, Phoebe Blue, Bill Pilgram, etc.
Food, snacks (smoothies will be given out by Goddess project/Afrikans helping Afrikans. 1. GARNER GREEN MACHINE
