Small Frye is a little hen who is only two years old! But once, she was close to dying at ony 2 days  old.... when the owners of the feedstore she ws shipped to deemed her unfit for sale. They had her put aside to be killed and tossed into the trash, when a kindly customer inquired and then offered to take the sickly chick off her hands. 

Wtihin a few months, Small Frye was robust and showed no signs of her former frail self! Things contnued to be smooth sailing until ... one day  she was visibly panting -- and it was not a hot day at all! It turned out her abdomen was such a huge mass of trapped, unshelled eggs --- all solidified into a cement-hard mass inside her -- that her air sacs could not take in enough air. As she pants her skin turns almost cyanotic, she's being rushed into surgery today -- even though money is uhh...not quite there ...  and several other birds await surgery;; 

We gotta pay the bill by Tusday (tomorrow) when we go to pick her post-sugery. if we don't have the money in time, the clinc just might hold onto lil; Small  Frye until the monetary obligations are met. 

Can ya throw down for little Small Frye? This is one thing that actually goes directly towards saving an innocent life -- because she litterally cannot survive without your help. We chose to forgo (free) euthanasia in favor of time-and-resource-intensive surgery because Small Fry is a strong girl with a big will to live! We know she can do it with your help!! <3
