Hello Seattle Compassion Community. In the two years since Seattle Compassion Services was founded, we have grown to support seven unhoused clients and worked with over forty volunteers for various efforts in the community. Together we continue our mission of housing 2,000 King County homeless by the end of 2026. 

We are proud to say that in the past year we accomplished the following (and more!):

  • Assisted seven clients in North Seattle. Three entered permanent housing and two have entered transitional housing since joining the SCS Compassion Housing Pathway
  • Helped serve over 1,600 hot meals at Fremont Baptist Church organized by Fremont Community Dinners, and donated $1,100 to Two Bridges Church (also a host of the meals)
  • Provided and stocked more than 60 resource table stations with food, water, clothing, and hygiene products
  • Organized two community cleanups where public areas were cleaned and 2,660 pounds of debris was removed 
  • Worked closely with the Ballard neighborhood and businesses regarding the homeless encampment at the Leary Triangle. Rented a port-a-potty, dumpster, and generator for the site
  • Attended virtual tiny-house workshops and researched current housing options for underserved communities, locally and nationally
  • Met with District 6 council member and King county council members, and networked with local business owners
  • Created partnerships with other local non-profit organizations 

 

Seattle Compassion Services is a 501(c)(3) charity, EIN 83-3667138. Your donations are tax-deductible and will be put toward case management services to those experiencing homelessness, food and water resources, necessities requested by encampment residents, and community cleanup projects.
