Our Story

Hi, we’re a small team of educators in Korea who wanted to do something different.

We dreamed of a school where kids could grow through creativity, not pressure — where joy, imagination, and play mattered just as much as reading and writing.

So we took a risk.

We started by joining a popular English kindergarten franchise that promised us everything — materials, support, guidance.

But once we began, we were left on our own. No help. No resources. Nothing we were promised. We were simply carrying a name.

So we made a decision: if no one was going to help us, we’d build it ourselves.

We wrote our own curriculum, created programs that sparked creativity, and taught with love and energy.

But we still couldn’t use our name. We were only allowed to exist as a “program” under someone else’s school.

Then we were told we had to move.

We relocated everything and rebuilt again — still not allowed to be “Elowenore,” still hidden under a name that didn’t support us.

Over time, the situation became even harder.

The principal did not acknowledge our work as a separate program.

She denied our requests when we tried to plan special events for our kids.

We had limited access to the school building — we could only use rooms when the school wasn’t using them, which meant constantly adapting to their schedule, with no willingness to compromise.

Professional respect was also missing.

Our time wasn’t respected, our messages were ignored, and attempts to discuss problems were dismissed.

Even financially, we were left unsupported.

We bought materials for lessons, created our own workbooks, and even purchased uniforms ourselves.

Parents paid the fees to the school, but the principal refused to return the money to us — despite multiple requests.

We were building everything with our own resources while receiving nothing in return.

Finally, we had the chance to return to our original building and launch officially as our own brand.

We designed the signs. We told the parents. We were ready.

But just days before making it official, the building owner changed her mind.

We lost everything — again.

Yet we didn’t give up.

We found a new space: a closed kindergarten building with the perfect layout, classrooms, and location.

A place where Elowenore can finally grow freely, without limits or restrictions.

Now, we just need your help to take the final step.

What Is Elowenore?

Elowenore is more than a kindergarten.
It’s a full creative space for children:

- A school where kids learn through play, creativity, and imagination
- An after-school academy for dance, cheerleading, performance, and fun

- A community built not on pressure but on love, joy, and freedom

We are raising $350,000 to move into the new building.

This will cover:

- The building deposit
- Monthly rent for the first several months
- Essential operating funds to start smoothly and safely

This goal gives us the stability to finally create a place where children and teachers can learn, grow, and thrive — without fear of losing our space again.
