Help Sagebrush build a new community space!
We know we're the ones usually hosting fundraisers for others... but this time; we are asking for some help!
Hi friends; my name is Jess, owner and founder of Sagebrush, an inclusive, sustainable, mountain town gift shop and artist community. We began in 2022 hosting markets, and when we opened our first storefront, it was big enough to hold workshops, classes, and community nights. That dream was short-lived when we lost that space after just a few months.
When we moved, our classroom could barely fit
seven people. Slowly, the workshops faded as we focused on growing a
solid foundation as a shop and market organization.
Then in 2025, we moved again, this time into our permanent
home. While a GREAT move for our shop, we still did not have
a large classroom space. Instead, we have a gorgeous patio and
backyard and with Boise's weather, we were excited to host again!
But we spent 2025 growing our shop and community, and never found the time or spare money to purchase folding chairs and tables to support our dream. We held a few events, including a yoga x watercolor event, an artist duo that hosted a field trip + art class after, and a few art shows/fundraisers, but we have been relying on 2 folding tables and a slew of donated camp chairs. It's really hard to expect artists hosting classes to provide their own tables and chairs.
As we head in 2026, our primary goal is build more community. We want to offer a free space for artists to teach classes, a place to host a free monthly craft night, and get the ball rolling on collaborating more.
So, what do we need?
We need 6 6 foot folding tables and 30 folding chairs so we can host up to 30 humans per event. Unfortunately we just don't have the profit margins to support this. If you're unfamiliar with Sagebrush, 70% of every sale immediately goes directly back to the artist who made what you're purchasing, and we don't want that to change!
So, we are calling to our community to help us
raise funds for this new space.
All donations will come with free Sagebrush stickers at a minimum, and each tier will offer something different.
What will these tables and chairs be used for?
We will be launching a bi-weekly free craft
night for the community! These tables and chairs will be used for
this, and every other workshop or class we offer. We will be
reaching out to community members that teach workshops in Boise and
ask if they would be interested in using our space for
free.
Tables and chairs will also be used during on Confluence
Market, as we often host brand new artists that don't quite have
market set ups and we would love to offer tables for use. We also
lend out tables and chairs for the nonprofits or mutual aid groups
we host for Confluence Markets as well.

If we reach our
goal of supplying all of the tables and chairs for our classroom
space, we want to upgrade our patio furniture! We offer this free to
our customers, Pine & Needle Tattoo Collective clients, and a
space to chill during the Confluence Market and other events such as
our art shows.
Our current set was left behind by the old tenant and has seen better days.
