London based award winning ARTivist from Botswana, Kat Kai Kol-Kes, hopes to tell the story of Montego Bay Pride in October 2017. Her documentary will capture the stories we must hear and add to 'Commonwealth' LGBT+ decriminalisation conversations.

International award winning ARTivist, humanitarian and storyteller, Kat Kai Kol-Kes is taking on the Commonwealth legacy of criminalising LGBTQI+ lives by demystifying the myths surrounding the oppression of LGBTQI+ people.

MONTEGO BAY PRIDE happens in October 2017 and Kat wants to be there to shoot a mini doccie with the folks behind it and about the spirit of resilience and perseverance which has kept this passion project going for these years. This is a collaborative project between Queer Tours of London, Kat Kai Kol-Kes International and endorsed by Montego Bay Pride.

Funds raised will cover travel and accommodation for Kat over the time she is there documenting the activities. Funds will also supplement production costs.
