A small group of women united by our deep concern for women and girls suffering in war, formed WRAP, the Women Refugees Advocacy Project.   Chris McDowell is a member.

Ukrainian Women and Children
WRAP is currently working with Persons Against Non-State Torture in Nova Scotia to raise support for women and children as they struggle to survive the on-going horrific war against Ukraine. They need our help now more than ever.

Yazidi Women and Girls
Originally, WRAP was devoted to recognizing and responding to the devastating harm inflicted on Yazidi women and girls by ISIS, perpetrators of genocide against the Yazidi people in Sinjar, Iraq. Please see our website for more information.
