Welcome to WAGs of SCI — Where Caregivers Find Community, Connection & Courage

At WAGs of SCI, our mission is simple but powerful: to uplift, support, and advocate for the partners and caregivers of people living with spinal cord injuries (SCI). We are a community built by caregivers, for caregivers—a place where strength is honored, vulnerability is welcome, and no one walks this path alone.

Being the partner of someone with a spinal cord injury is life-changing. It is a journey filled with love, resilience, and sacrifice—but also with challenges that often go unseen and unsupported. Many caregivers find themselves isolated, overwhelmed, and left to navigate complex medical, emotional, and practical realities without guidance or community.

That’s where we come in.

At WAGs of SCI, we:

  • Provide a safe and inclusive space for partners and caregivers to connect, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships with others who truly understand
  • Create accessible resources on caregiving, mental health, self-care, advocacy, and long-term wellness
  • Host events and community activities that foster connection, empowerment, and well-being
  • Raise awareness and advocate for the needs of caregivers within the broader SCI support ecosystem

We believe caregiving should not mean giving up your identity, your health, or your hope. When caregivers are supported, the entire SCI community thrives.

Whether you’re newly on this journey or have been walking it for years, you belong here. Welcome to WAGs of SCI—together, we rise.
