The St Jerome's Centre is a small children's home in Nakuru, Kenya. As a registered charity, we provide a loving home to children whose families are unable to support them, or those that have been orphaned. We also employ 7 local staff who help to run the home and care for the children. The charity is run by a volunteer committee from the UK. 

 

We believe that each child is entitled to a full education. Unlike in the UK, secondary school is not free in Kenya, costing around £4,000 per child. We rely solely on fundraising and sponsorship to continue the work we do. Due to rising costs of living in Kenya, The St Jerome's Centre's is stretched now more than ever. Our current fundraising efforts will go towards furthering the education of our children, in line with our vision of bringing hope and change to their lives.
